Thanks, Johnboy, but I'm afraid that much of this information is many years out-of-date.

There's a lot of this sort of information available on the Citizens Information Board's website - http://www.ciboard.ie/.

There is information on disability organisations on the website of the Disability Federation of Ireland - http://disability-federation.ie/index.php?uniqueID=137.

This needs to be updated. I am a person with a disability and I know that two or people in the organisations have since left

The DFI list appears quite comprehensive ...... but it makes me wonder if there are many organisations not affiliated with them, and thus not in the list.

No I do not know of any ..... just wondering what the limitations might be is all ;)

Yep - there are LOADS that are not affiliated with DFI.

For example, many of the so-called 'intellectual disability' organisation are not members of DFI but are, instead, members of the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies - you can see their membership at http://www.fedvol.ie/Our_Members/Default.748.html.
