Thermals!

This isn't really a fashion question (considering these garments haven't been fashionable since early last centuary!) but I am going to Krakow this weekend for a mini break and it looks like it is taking a turn for the cold and snowy with temps down as low as -9 degrees. We will be out and about sight seeing, so want to try and keep toasty. Does anyone know where I could get a thermal vest and maybe tights that won't break the bank? Hopefully won't have much call for them when we get home, so don't want to spend a fortune. Thanks!

Penny's 300d footless tights are brilliant, not sure they are as effective at -9 tho :P

M&S has a fleece thermal shirt. Its much thicker than their regular thermal shirts, you may want to check them out. They also have the fleece lined thermal leggings

Oh my god, they sounds like heaven! I could see myself wearing them 24/7 when I get home! I have the added issue of being 14 weeks pregnant so leggings would be perfect as I am struggling to fit into my regular trousers!

I got a thermal top in penneys last year, it's really thin and looks like a normal top nearly, was toasty warm in it

let me know how you get on with them. I bought the termal fleece top but haven't worn it yet as I am waiting till it gets way colder :-) If you get on good with them at -9, I will be buying more as these can run out fast :-)

Have you seen the leggings in the flesh? Looking at the pic online, they look a bit see through, I'd love to be able to wear them on their own as regular leggings, but obviously don't want to be flashing my wares to people!

I got to see them when I got the thermal top in store but I didn't really take a closer look at them. I only saw it because it was beside the thermal top that I got.

I have these in purple and wear on their own or under trs :

Even though they are not in any way cotton, they are more breathable than my Penny's ones from last year.
