I'm looking to dye my hair a rich chocolate brown colour. Im naturally quite a medium-dark brown. I had ombré in my hair during the summer and feel like the bleached ends are a bit orangey looking so need to dye it again. I was going to get xxl bittersweet chocolate but after reading reviews the feedback is do not buy as it turns hair black.
Does anybody have any recommendations? :)

If you're going to dye it yourself, maybe try a semi for the moment? I use Casting Creme Gloss dyes and they're grand. You might need to dye your hair more often with them but I find I've less product build-up in my ends, and they make my hair feel really soft. If it goes a bit darker than you'd initially intended, then at least with a semi it'll fade a little faster and you won't be stuck with a head of black hair.

Definitely agree on the casting creme gloss front! Lasts well but at the same time gives an even fade so roots have never been a problem for me! Absolutely love 415 iced chocolate personally, for a deeper brown 323 dark chocolate is another favourite of mine! 323 is very dark, nearly black so if you want to avoid that any of the 400 or 500 chocolate shades i've used i've loved as well.

Thanks for that guys, I ended up buying Garnier Olia in dark brown cause it has the oils to make hair soft (hopefully) gonna dye it now. Funny that I actually had the Iced Cholcate in my hand but put it back cause it says lasts up to 28 washes and I wanted something permenant. Hopefully I'm
    Happy with this!

I was going to say don't use that xxl because it turned my hair black! And I was then going to recommended olia because it fades less than others I've tried and gives a nice rich colour :) hope it works out for you!

What a coincidence haha! I'm Gerry happy with the result just the colour I wanted nice and rich but not too dark :)
