Did anybody know the difference between a regular nativity scene and a spanish nativity scene - nearly fell laughing when I only heard about this.

The spanish nativity scene contains an extra figure - which is known as a cadager (sp), or, simple put - a man squatting in the corner having a poo.

    :D:D

Don't worry, they have ****ting Yule logs too. The kids feed them for the month of December then literally beat the **** out of them to get presents.

I love the way the latinos are less anally retentive (pardon the pun) about religion than we are.

Can you imagine one of these lads in an Irish crib?

Yeah, Catholicism does seem to be a bit more craic over here. Not so much doom and gloom.

it's the opposite here in France. Catholicism is largely the domain of the stuffy bourgeois.

Thought being born in a stable was symbolic enough.
To have a lad crapping in the corner is just milking it.
