    Hey all,

Just wondering as I intend to apply to re-sign on tomorrow after working for 10 weeks. What documentation will I need for the social welfare officer and community welfare officer? And what is the procedure? Will they still have my documentation on file? I don't have a social services card.

Up to 8 weeks of work, your claim remains 'active' but your just over that limit but don't worry about that, just go in and ask if you can have your claim reopened.

All your details will be on file but bring your p45 with you or you can hand it in later. Sign on immediately or you could loose out.

How come you have no card, are you waiting on the new one.

I was on a temporary one when I signed off. Who do I ask for reopen the claim? The CWO or the Social Welfare Office?

you will only make an appointment for a claims officer and get the forms that need filling first of all.

If you were claiming Job seekers then go to the dole office. Just go to the information desk and explain that you would like your claim reopened after finishing 10 weeks of work..

You may have to make a new claim but hopefully not.
