Looks spot on. I'd bump the PSU up to a 700w or 750w if you want the option to crossfire in the future, should only add about €30 onto the budget. Something like THIS or THIS.

CPU cooling wise, THIS is a great cooler for the money and will easily get you OC'd to 4ghz+

    Cheers man,

I've added those and run it all through geizhals.de, coming to exactly 1200 if I add on the SSD I already bought and the windows key. First time building, any additional components or cables I'll need before i go ahead and order??

    Thanks for the help

I have that monitor. LG flatron. Very happy with it. The bad points I think for me are limited menus/options and some light leakage from the lower corners. Not a deal breaker for me but I do notice it from time to time.

Even though the power saving option have been turned off, it still goes into a sleep mode after about 20 minutes.

Still a great screen at that price.

    Thanks for the input,

Actually just got the LG down to 143e with geizhals, seems like a no-brainer!

Hmm, I've everything priced of hardwareversand and run through geizhals. I'm including the cost of my monitor and Windows in the 1200e though so that prob makes up the difference. Could I save on the motherboard but still get one suitable for overclocking and xfire?

The Extreme 3 can do dual PCIe X8/X8 thats probably about as low as you can go on the board.

You could save on the case get the non window version 87 I think.

That monitor,Few people picked up 23 inch lg IPs monitors on amazon 150 delivered.

If you need to cut back maybe cut costs on the monitor. Shop on amazon.
