Orange hall, stairs and landing

I really want to paint my hall, stairs and landing a nice orange colour. I love vibrant colours but I don't want to make a huge mistake either as it's quite a dark space but I don't want to very subtle that it looks peach either.
It'll be going with dark wood floors, I've tried a tester of Bongo Jazz 3 by Dulux but it's too salmony/fleshy.

Any suggestions would be great, or am I mad to go orange? Should I just stick to the standard creams, magnolias?

It's all a matter of personal taste...I have recently bought a house that had a lot of orange and the first thing I did as get rid of it all! Couldn't stand it! If you are going to have dark floors then I would be worried it could be too dark, but it depends on the size of the space you have also.

I went with colour trend minimal in my hall and colour trend pebble beach in the sitting room. I really wanted a grey colour in the sitting room but couldn't find the one that would work. At the time I didn't have any furniture or ideas of feature colours so it was very hard to choose something. I think now that my room is coming together I will probably try again for the grey I want.

If you want to go with orange, do it with conviction ! Use a bright orange, but don't put it on all the walls.
Another option is to go with a more neutral colour palette on the walls and use orange as your accent in soft furnishings, wall hangings and runner.

Since writing this I painted my kitchen bright bright green and deeply regret it!!

Neutrals all the way for now! Thanks for the advice!
