Ipad replacement screen

    Screen on my ipad cracked about a year ago, I bought a replacement screen but the digitizer connecters are located on the top of the screen I bought, but on the ipad they are located on the bottom left hand side of the home button.

    It looks like I should have got a ipad 2 screen instead of ipad 1, I assumed it was an ipad 1 because there is no marking to suggest other wise, all it says is IPAD.

    Hi Hedgecutter,

    I need a new screen for my ipad2 but unsure of when to order one. I am abit worried about quality. Where did you order yours and did you finish the repair?

    @hedgecutter, that sounds like an ipad2 alright, always best to google the model number on the back of the ipad/iphone/etc
    There is some dreadful quality screens out there, I've seen plastic ones being delivered to people!

    Can you recommond any where to buy a screen. I have tried eBay but some have bad reviews.
