Which is the better grip interlocking or overlapping (vardon I think its called)
I can use both but dont know which one to stick with!

Tiger uses interlocking and am told its suited to people with smaller hands(which I have) and have been using this the last 2 years still not improving much I know there's other factors etc.

been reading ben hogans book/bible 5 lessons in golf and he recommends using overlapping! I'm caught between the 2 and just want to commit to 1 and stick with it!

everytime I have a lesson my pro tweaks my grip a little but says i have a good grip and stresses how important the grip is but never thought to ask him which is best.. just looking for other people views especially single figure HC'ers and what grip they use?

Use whichever works for you. There's no right or wrong between those two.

At the end of the day, play with what you're comfortable with. If your Pro is saying your grip is good, why are you considering changing it?

I've used the baseball grip up until a few months ago. Started using the interlock grip with my driver to keep control as it felt my hands were slightly moving during the down swing. It's been a success and now I'm gradually applying it to all clubs. Any new grip is always awkward at first but it soon pays off.
