Christmas present for a billionaire

    Hey guys,

I've got a bit of a conundrum. I moved to Canada earlier this year, got a really good job, happy out, and I want to give my boss a present to thank her for picking up an emigrant and giving him a chance.

The thing is, she's crazy rich. Offensively rich. Ordinarily if I didn't know what to get, I'd give a card and money, but that's not really going to fly this time.

    Any ideas?

    Give her your soul!

    Or a box of roses.

Something associated with Ireland? Might have to order it online

A small piece of Waterford crystal, maybe one of those clocks in the shape of Ireland.

Just a nice thank you card would be lovely.

Get someone to post you over Irish treats, Christmassy stuff - chocolate Kimberleys, mince pies, small box of roses, little bottle of Jameson, six pack of Tayto, smoked salmon, ?block of cheese and some crackers.

Pop it into a nice basket, she would be blown away.

Or get someone to send you a couple of nice Newbridge Christmas decorations, they have a lovely new one that is like a Georgian door. You might be able to order them online but if someone sent them they'd get them in the post ASAP!

The Newbridge website is actually very limited, definitely get someone to get them for you if that's the way you're going!

Definitely something overly Irish, it'll more the thought that she'll be into.

Something from Newbridge that she can put on her tree. Classy and simple

Id vote the poster above's idea. A hamper with Irish foods and stuff that you can't get in Canada. Some biscuits, sweets, things like Ballymaloe relish and irish cheeses etc.

If she's into that kind of thing, a bottle of Midleton whiskey - might cost up to €100, but comes in a nice wooden box.

I was going to suggest this! A lovely Irish Newbridge Christmas decoration(s).

    Alternatively something personalised.

Something from Newbridge or Waterford Crystal as others have said. Wouldn't go with the Irish Hamper stuff - unless she is Irish!
