    Hey there!
Just looking for some help with finalising my first build, this is what I have decided upon so far: (Cant get fscript to work so just typing it out this way)

    CPU - Intel Core i7-4770K Box, LGA1150 - €295.28
    MoBo - ASRock Z87M Extreme4, Sockel 1150, mATX - €105.93
    Memory - 8GB-Kit G.Skill Ares PC3-12800U CL9-9-9-24 - €70.34
    SSD - Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 120GB SATA 6Gb/s - € 87.99
    HHD - WD Blue 1TB 6Gb's - €52.43
    Video Card - GeForce GTX 770, 2GB GDDR5 - €285.77
Case - Fractal Design Define R4 Titanium Grey - €91.51

I dont have a PSU picked out as I'm not sure of the Wattage needed for the system, so if someone would be able to recommend one I would be grateful!
Also, I'm not sure if I need a cooler, do I?
Anyway, here's are my relevant info for the build....

    1. What is your budget? No set budget at the moment but somewhere between €1000 to €1300. I am flexible with this.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Mainly gaming, from the old to the very new and everything in between

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? Yes, but I'll be able to choose that myself, but again and recommendations would be great

5a. If yes, what size do you need. anywhere from 22" to 27"

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? I will be able to source these myself

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Maybe, not sure

    8. How can you pay? Most, if not all options

    9. When are you purchasing? Once I am happy with the build on paper I will then.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? N/A

Just one last thing, hardwareversand, what are they like purchase from? Do they take most forms of payment? and are the reliable with support afterwords?

    Thanks!

Bit overkill for gaming as i7 offers no benefits over the i5 for gaming and is nearly one hundred euro more. You will also need a cooler if you are planning on overclocking or get a non K version of the processor if you are not planning to.

I would go with a 700 watt power supply such as this one if you plan on adding a second graphics card down the line. If not you could get the 500 watt version of it.

    Cant really beat these monitors.

What benefit does it have otherwise then? Like for future gaming wouldn't the i7 offer something more? Excuse my ignorance about it but I just want to be able to future proof the machine to a certain extent as well.

Has hyper threading which things like photoshop and Video editing software can use and other programs that can utilize it. Its not used currently in games.

Duckers if you are not going to overclock go I7 non k. Save about 40 to 50 euro and yes future gaming will take advantage of I7 not as of now.

I think I might stay with Nvidia, I've always had Nvidia and it's served me well so far, thanks though!

Your build is solid. All good choices. But for other options...

Maybe have a look at the nanoxia deep silence one range. As name suggests quiet, Same price point as fractal case same understated look. but a few more features just has the edge over the fractal case. but still one the you picked is good case and will serve you well.

For PSU I'd go be quiet 700w 7 700. It has a silver plus rating. Good unit quality components like the name suggests quiet. 70 something euro. That or a corsair.

Made a few changes little changes after I ran through my list in the www.geizhals.de site and have come out with this....

    CPU - Intel Core i7-4770K Box, LGA1150 - €284.50
    Mobo - ASUS Z87-PRO (C2) - €156.73
    RAM - 8GB-Kit G.Skill Ares PC3-12800U CL9-9-9-24 - €64.02
    Video Card - ASUS GTX770-DC2O-2GD5 DirectCU II OC, GeForce GTX 770, 2GB GDDR5 - €285.77
    SSD - Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 120GB SATA 6Gb/s - €84.43
    HHD - WD Blue 1TB 6Gb's - €49.76
    Fan - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD - €25.55
    Power Supply - be quiet! SYSTEM POWER 7 700W - bulk - €79.19
    Total Cost - €1029.95

At the moment it's a toss up between the Fractal Design case and the nanoxia one that you suggested Sterling, so just add an extra €80 to 100 on depending on the case. Changed the Mobo because of the saving that I was making through geizhals.de and that wifi and other features were already incorporated into it.

Any other suggestions before I put an order in for it?
