    Hi,

We've a Massey 188 that's been blown oil up the exhaust with the past 15years . Also lots of white smoke when it's left running idle.

Still goin great tho , and as powerfull as hell , just need to keep it topped up with oil.

Any ideas what's wrong, and how to fix it?
    Is it a big job?

    Thanks,

    Jo

What's the crankcase breather like - might be clogged, or could be oil control rings or could be head oil seals but if it's been doing it for 15 years, why not put on the long finger for another 10 or so? Unless it's the breather which may just need a cleaning.

Dnt know anything about crankcase breather. Thinking about selling it , and want to either fix it, if it's easy , or know what's wrong with it so as to tell who ever might be interested in buying it . Selling as want something with bigger cab. . . Otherwise would keep driving it

blocked pcv pipe would tend to blow oil up through the dip stick, the pipe runs down the front of the engine pass the front crank pully. I would say you valve guides are worn.

how much You want of it?
    :D
