Haven't watched it in full for a few years. I enjoyed it.

Well done Ryan and everybody behind the scenes. Tubs really got into it, wasn't bothered about looking a bit naff in places.

Shows like that are what national broadcasters can do properly.

All toys on set will be donated to charities over the next few weeks.

Again, well done Ryan and RTE.

I watched it last night and I agree it was one of the better Late Late Toy Shows.

As an uncle of nephews and nieces I think the show should be broadcast earlier in Nov, I spent 2 hours in Smyths about 2 weeks ago picking up their Christmas presents so it was a bit late for me and many many others I saw queuing there that day.

    Wrong Forum.

Also more like a TV3 show. Where is there any PSB Consumer Protection/Awareness/Advice?

Barely more than annual retail promotion.

Because a PS remit does not include entertaining children

I thought it was good because it was basically about children entertaining children (and their parents). They had hundreds of kids participating, which has to be fantastic. It should be all about kids being kids, not about kids wanting toys, or even toys.

My only critism is that it should be broadcast from 6:30pm till 9 pm, and perhaps follow the 9pm news with a thirty minute programme of a highlights of the auditions - again concentrating on the kids and what they can do. By 11 pm those kids were wall-falling with the tiredness, and many more kids at home would be more appreciative of an early start, and parents appreciative of an early finish.

By far the best moment was the young lad, who could not stop talking, on seeing Robbie Keane being totally and utterly gobsmacked. He could not think of a word to say as his jaw was on the floor. Brilliant TV.
