Any sort of service like ParcelMotel for ordering from the US?

Even like a courier service that I can get it delivered to one of their depots and then they fly it over here?

Found a really great deal on something that I save over €270, so I wouldn't even mind if I had to pay a premium. Only a small package.

Or if any of you live in either Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, US or Canada I'd happily send you some money to forward it onto me.

;) This comes up regularly. I've found www.shipito.com the best of the forwarding companies mainly because they offer a photo service. ( None of them are brilliant - it can be hard to get an answer out of them sometimes )
Its a complete lottery with the customs charges - use USPS and you might get lucky.

Any idea what sort of ID Shipito need? Makes me feel a bit sketchy needing ID just to register, I just want to pay the $50 and be done with it. Also, when paying tax + customs, when do they charge you? Get a letter through the postbox or how does it work?

Just used their default registration and didn't need ID. Now onto the next question, do I only pay for postage once the package has arrived at their location? And which is the best to use? Oregon has no sales tax, but I thought Americans aren't charged tax for purchases online? Want to go with Hawthorn CA myself, but I have no clue.

I use the Oregon address as it has no sales tax. Forget the fact that its in the western USA , it seems to ship out of San Francisco.
When the item arrives in the warehouse you will get an email - log in and follow the template. You can ask them to open the box and send a photo for a fee. You declare the content, value and select a shipping option. You will find USPS is nearly always the cheapest by a long shot and I've found it reliable.
Even second hand goods attract customs and VAT but the declared value is up to you.
