1 Month Free Spotify Premium

I had Spotify Premium before but I cancelled it due to lack of use.
Today I got an email asking me to come back and it gave me 1 free month of Premium.
I already tried giving the link to my friend and it worked.
Simply Click here
Enter in Card/PayPal Information. (You can cancel straight away)
Then Enjoy Premium for 1 month!

It appears that you've already been a premium user and this trial is only valid for new users. If you'd like you can still upgrade your account to premium at any time

Odd, it's definitely not valid for new users only because I myself was a previous user, as was my friend.
Did you try sign out then sign in when it says the free trial?

Thanks OP! This worked for me. I used to be a Spotify premium subscriber but cancelled it. Your link just got me another a free 30 days. Must remember to cancel it before they charge me

Cancel now if you want, your Spotify will just return to the regular free version when the 30 days end.

Stupid question - As someone who only discovered spotify about 20 seconds ago (off the back of having seen this thread) and who is already enjoying some decent quality full length tracks.. what's the upside to having a premium account? (I was expecting a load of advertisement bubbles trying to sell it to me as soon as i logged in, but i cant see any mention of it?!)

I can see mention of creating a playlist.. is that it? Is that what you pay for (or don't pay for, in this bargain alerts case)? The ability to create a playlist?

As far as I'm aware, I might be wrong though but dont they give you a free trial when you sign up?
Anyway, the differences are
No ads.
The ability to listen on other devices, phones, tablets etc.

although, owing to my own laziness/stupidity, I could have seen the differences are actually laid out if you scroll down a fair bit on the sign up page (didnt realise you could scroll at all).

Thats strange, not sure what you can try there. Perhaps try a different account? Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Mine was 9.99 yesterday, but is 0 today.
Must be because I had cancelled in early Nov...

One big difference that isn't mentioned there is that on Free and Unlimited the bitrate of the files is 160 kbps and with Premium it's 320 kbps.

With a trial account you only get 10 hours worth of listening time, at least that's what happened my last free account. :P

You get it unlimited for 6 months before it switches to 10 hours per month or 2.5hrs per week.
