window in flat roof?

hello Folks,

did anyone ever put a skylight or window in a flat roof? Would like to hear how you went about doing it as I will shortly have to do this. Whether it opens or not I dont care. Also blinds are not necessary.

You can fit a Velux or Fakro window very easy there is a kit you get and its really easy to fit no prob to DIY

Friend has two flat-roof lights for years in a kitchen/diner. It really brightens the place but in winter the room felt a fair bit colder and occasionally had condensation dripping down onto anything/anyone below.
