50euro voucher for Aldi in the Sunday independent

Its vouchers not voucher, so probably 100 vouchers are .50 cent each

This is great! I wonder is there a minimum amount you have to spend.

Looks like Sunday's Indo could be like gold dust to find.

Just had a look there. Surely there will be a big minimum spend or numerous vouchers that can't be used together on one shop. Could potentially be a great deal.

How much do you have to spend to get €50 off?

    Edit, answered above.

You weren't far wrong. Picked up my copy in the spar there 30 mins ago. Only one left!

Incidentally u can only use the 20 between 16th and 22nd, others are all 10s of which one can be used per week

    I must pick those up.
I bought Sunday world last week for 10€ off over €50 spend.
My little girl was being very spirited.
I spent €80 and NEVER Used the voucher.
Was sick when I copped it:(

Sunday world has vouchers as well today. 30% off crackers (the edible kind), cranberry sauce, christmas cake, pud and a few more. It would be good to combine the offers if you're in the market for those things anyway . The cake is a tenner so that alone would recoup you the cost of the paper.

I didn't get the page number but they're on the bottom left hand side in a supplement in the middle of the paper if anyone wants a look in the shop.

Editing to say Ooooooh Lisha, you must have been disgusted!!

Got 2 as well, normally do about €100 on saturday, i suppose i could do €50 on a thursday get €10 off then another €50 on sat for another €10.
then just use the €20 on my €100 shop nearer xmas.

in fairness, I've gotten the same vouchers from the multiples who have my contact details through loyalty cards. This is probably a much cheaper way for Aldi to get the same reach rather than spending a voucher printing and posting personalised vouchers.

I suspect that by printing them in the Sindo they are targeting new middle market customers rather than just rewarding existing customers. Plus of course Aldi does not track customers - the only means of targeting vouchers they would have to be to email those on their mailing list.

Seems to be sold out in a lot of shops but found it eventually. Small print is straight-forward, only exclusion is infant formula milk.

I posted a pic of the voucher on twitter: https://twitter.com/irishconsumer/status/407136508215562240/photo/1/large

Which is a legal exclusion in any event - you cannot legally discount infant formula

    €30 of Aldi vouchers in tomorrow's Sindo. I'd imagine a €20 off a €100 shop and a €10 off €50.

8c! I'm guessing brussel sprouts, turnip, cabbage, unpeelable pithtastic oranges, acidic green apples, baby potatoes :P

From the T&C's on the voucher:
"Copied, damaged or defaced coupons will not be accepted - only original coupons are valid."

The above link to the vouchers is the vouchers we are using at the moment. There is 2 weeks left on those. The vouchers in Sunday s Indo (if there is some) are probably for the 2 last weeks in Dec so its waste of money buying the rubbishy Indo unless one needs duplicate vouchers ie 20e off 100e spend next week & 10e off 50e spend the following week. Correct me if I am wrong, I am only assuming.

Yeah. They will I'd imagine be 'duplicates' for anyone who has them already. But it is a second chance for those who do not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 926 ✭✭✭styron

Yeah, duplicates you can still avail of if you can spend that extra €150 (in separate transactions) you'll get a further €30 back or to put it more simply - buy 1250 melons/pineapples and 250 are free!
