Personally I would be very wary of alot of the franchises that advertise on some of the franchise sites. I think alot the companies advertising have unsuitable products or services for Ireland or else the market is quiet saturated in things like fast food, coffee shops and even retail. If you look around at the top franchises they dont advertise aggresively for franchises and its normally potential franchisees who contact the franchises. If you travel outside the country its worth looking at what businesses/services/shops are in the country/city you visit and could you bring one into Ireland. Theres a toy shop called Imaginarium which is a spanish chain. The people who brought it into Ireland saw the shops in spain and approached the owners and got a deal out of them and now have a few shops going.
