Seen an 'old dear' driving today and it got me wondering, who is Ireland's oldest driver? I see in the UK there are a few hundred people over 100 years old still with driving licenses.

So who's the oldest person you know driving be it a parent or a neighbor, and what car do they drive?

here is a click from a UK documentary. The oldest drivers in Britain (bbc1)

There is a lad over the road from me who is over 90, I am not sure how much but I reckon 92/93. He drives daily including tractors etc.

I knew a man was driving until about 89/90 when he had an accident and that was the end of it.

There was the man who's only ever owned Volkswagens.... and owned enough of them that Volkswagen heard about it and gave him a free Volkswagen.

my aunt is 93, bought a new yaris this year, still does about 7k miles per annum

feel safer travelling with her than I do with some of younger drivers

I had a grandad who passed away about a year ago that was 90. He was still driving up until 3 days before he died.

To top it off he had an Almera hatchback for day to day (running to the shop) and an old Rover SD1 V8 for the weekend.
The SD1 Was his from new as well.
