New PC not working

    Hi all,

So I let a company here in Germany build and ship me a PC. They were cheap and looked reputable so I went with them. Everything looked fine and speedy until my computer actually arrived though I have no reason yet to suspect a shoddy dealer.

    It will not turn on.

When I plug it in I can see one light on the Mother Board comes on. So power is reaching the Mother Board. However when I hit the power button almost nothing happens. With the sole exception that the fan on the PSU and heat sink start to rotate for a mere split second before stopping again.

I have unplugged the power and data cables from CD drives and Hard disks and SSD. And I have removed and replaced the RAM. I have removed and replaced all power cables and other cables I can see connected to the mother board. Nothing changes the behaviour.

What else would you guys normally check in a case like this? Computer hardware is:

    ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3, 760G
    FX-6200, 6x 3.80GHz
    Scythe Samurai CPU Heat sink
    4 GB DDR3-1600
    WLAN card 300Mbps
