    €3 each

I know they are not rachet but Adi have an ordinary spanner set for €10.99.

    review... 1/5 ?

Grand for very light use.... but useless for heavy use.

Given that if you are only doing light use they may be overkill, if you are doing heavy use, perhaps get a better make?

I wouldn't go too much by the reviews, I doubt there were any failures but if it did happen, they are covered by a lifetime guarantee.

    Read the review.

The guy who posted the review is one of halfords top 1000 reviewers. It failed on him.
Halfords then replied to the review and said they will not cover "mechanical" or "moving" parts. Halfords claim he could have used the ratchet as a breaker bar.
    Either way... no guarantee.

My local Aldi have a set of five in the popular sizes reduced to €7.99 atm. I would presume it's in all branches. I bought the same set a few years ago and they've served me well. I doubt if any mechanic or engineer would use a ratchet spanner on a seized nut or bolt, that's just asking for trouble.
