Audi tt insurance

Thinking of buying an audi tt and was just wondering if there are any young drivers out there that own one.
Seems hard to find insurance for one. But xs direct quoted me 2 grand for one but no sure if I'm able to go with them because I think they have some terms like the car can't be more than 10 years old and more than 5 grand in value. Any advice would be great. I'm 21, male and 2 ncb with full licence.

The online quote systems often have those standard conditions re car age and value but often if you call them up, they can cover you on a car outside of those conditions.

I had a hard time getting insured on one at 27. Think it was €1100 with chartis fully comp.

Which model are you looking at?
NA, turbo? FWD, AWD? Coupé, drop top?

For what it's worth, XSdirect have quoted me higher than other companies in a similar situation.

Good question. Also the year would be handy to know.
