48: Order New Micro Sim for Daughter without her knowing?

Ok so my daughter is on 48 with an old phone and regular sim.

I have her a new phone for Christmas which requires a Micro Sim, so how can I go about getting her one without her knowledge? I don't want her to end up on Christmas not being able to use the phone due to no SIM until she orders herself.

Can I just order a Micro Sim and then give it to her to register / reassign her existing number or ?

Advice appreciated.

If I was you I would try and do it now rather than leaving it till Christmas morning, you could possibly do it overnight or while she's at school. Just so as you know, the micro size come as actual full size sim and you have the option of using the full size or the micro size.

I'd imagine it's just a matter of ordering the new micro sim and when it arrives
Register it via the option on their website

Its a marketing ploy. you can be any age and join it, they have no way of knowing.

They did mine in a shop, didn't do it right, I had to tidy it up with scissors to make it fit properly.

You could also order a 2nd sim, new number as a backup sim, in case you damage the first one. Then you can ring them up and transfer the number form one sim to another. But you should be ok just cutting the first one. Its also handy to get a sim adapter, to change it back to a full size sim in case you need to switch it to another phone in the future.
