Labour and materials is 13.5% depending on the labour/material split

    Purchase only is higher rate

13.5% if installed which is almost always is the case. All vat can be reclaimed even if not reg.

grand job. Uncle was convinced last night it was 23% because that is what is charged when he fits the milking machines

If goods are >66% of invoice 23.5%
    If labour(service) is > 66% of invoice 13.5%
Motor trade is an exception and a dew more I can't think of

Gonna be an expensive buy. All the tanks are working out at the same price bare one which us a well known make and a better tank. That can be got a bit cheaper than the others. Milk pump has to be changed, have to get an inline filter a plate cooler and a new water heater. :/:/:/:/:/

Did you apply for the grant in the end? Got approval here yesterday to go ahead, had visit on Monday about it, bit of a joke, guy just trying to pass an hour out of the office, was more interested in looking down the fields at the cows

Have you got the dept sheet on the max you can apply for, ie so much per cluster, per litre of tank, per litre plate cooler etc, knock 20% off the reference cost per the dept sheet and that is how much you can apply for(reduce by 20% to get extra marks when application been looked at). If it actually costs less then you'll just get paid based on the lower actual cost

KCTK, they are accepting almost everyone now, so I'd just fire in for the full amount. I know back when the scheme was over subscribed they were favouring lads with the 20% less, but not anymore, better to keep your options open in-case whatever costs more!

My wife and I are in a milk partnership and I am in one with a third party also.

If tanker driver will continue to come daily may not do tanks but will apply anyway
