S3 wont read sim card

    I just got a present of an S3 and I had to get my sim switched to a micro sim

    Problem is the new sim wont work in the phone. I've tried 2 sims now and both work in other phones. The phone is unlocked and I've tried a few different roms on it. Running 4.1.2 Jellybean right now

    No idea what to do now, any suggestions?

    I was thinking of switching networks, I'm on 3, to whatever one worked with it
