Buying & fitting windows.

Am renovating a house at present and have very little cash to do it.

    Question:

For windows, is a feasible route to purchase the windows myself and ask a local handyman to fit them.....?

I am guessing that windows can't be that complicated to fit.

What I'd be more concerned about is ordering the correct size.

I don't have the cash to pay a DG company to do the whole house, but I was thinking I could do some of the bedroom windows this way.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.
