Hi, I am currently doing a project where my lecturer gives us 1000 euro to invest in the stockmarket(iseq). I was lookin for advice as to which investment would give the best return as I have little or no knowledge of how to predict share price. Thank you.

If your college is giving you money to invest I think it is likely that by now you should know a good bit about investing. Maybe check your lecture notes for answers.

Apologies I meant to emphasise that the 1000 euro was just play money and we evaluate our returns nearer the end of the year.

Fair enough, you could still benefit more by doing your own coursework rather than asking others to do it for you. You can get kicked out of college for that just so you know.

First of all its not an exam, its a learning experience to develop knowledge on what impacts the price of a share. So for my own experience I would rather see positive growth and discuss that result. I was looking for advice, if nobody has any or they do not wish to comment that is completely okay but what can anyone gain from your comments

But I won't be in the class to explain the share choice for you.

If its a learning experience for yourself grasp the opportunity do some research and pick a share. You might learn something, enjoy yourself and develop an interest in investments.
