Had a heifer brought almost 3 weeks with her last year. I wouldn't panic yet.

RHF has gestation of 289 days, so 15 Feb plus 289 days is 01 December, so she's not due until Sunday. No need to worry.

I had 3 bulled over 2 days to a SI bul zbfl and 1 calved bang on time the other 2 brought nearly 10 days more so if she's showing signs of softening I wouldn't worry. Stay calm and she'll calve in her own time.

The only was to add up gestation is days. This racket of lads saying she's two/three weeks over is gas.
Around 290 days calves a lot of them I find. We have the odd lady go 300+.

Sorry to hear that. Did you pick RHF or did the Ai guy pick him? Not exactly easy calving at 6.2%. For heifers he is 8% (first parity).

Was easiest bull ai man had on the day, as long as the heifer and calf come ok I don't mind, I just hope i won't be months trying to get her back in calf again
