Had eircom out installing the new setup to get Magnet Fatpipe broadband, with a supposed speed of 70mb, Eircom engineer said that Magnet had to switch the internet on as it wasn't, this was on Tuesday, numerous calls to Magnet and have been fobbed off with excuse after excuse, that it is a problem that all ISP's are experiencing, not happy with Magnet at all over this.

Magnet are brutal. Your risking being throttled also as well. I had to leave them for it, as they throttled my connection to 1m/bit.

You are within your right to cancel now and order Vodafone or Eircom.
