Hi All, Looking for some advice, our hall door (Pics Attached) has something i never seen before, instead of closing "flush" against the door frame, it hangs over the edge of it, making it difficult to attach a deadbolt as the frame of the door is lower in dept than the door is (if that makes sense) Anyone seen encountered…

Hi All,

If I follow you correctly the rebate on the door frame is less than the door thickness.
Why not just get a Hardwood Slip to glue and screw to the Frame and then fit your deadbolt.
I would make sure to use a boxed receiver plate as opposed to the flush face receiver plate for added strength and security.
