    Hi all,

Over the last few weeks, there's been a sign in the gym saying (in the pool area at least) that the showers could be "too hot".

For those weeks, the showers were actually nice for once. Not freezing cold. In fact someone much wittier than me scribbled over the sign and wrote "delightfully hot".

However, they now seem to have fixed the "problem" and the showers are Baltic cold again. I see people all the time skip the shower before going swimming because the showers are simply too cold.

I'm going to ask them to increase the temperature of the showers, but I don't know if it'll get any traction (I complained before about so many broken machines, but never once got a reply until my subscription was up for renewal).

Could everyone here who's a member drop an email to Kingfisher asking them to bring up the temp of the showers? Maybe collectively we might have a better chance of improving things?

    Cheers,
    M

Have just sent an e-mail to them there but am not holding out any hope of a reply. I have e-mailed them on so many occasions for the same reasons as yourself and have never even received a reply of acknowledgement. The showers were lovely for the last while and now its back to the usual freezing temperatures. Don't know what they're so busy doing that they don't have the time to get back to their members-they're certainly not cleaning anyway.........!

    Hey,

Thanks for sending that email. Wonder is there anything else we could do? Maybe get a petition?

Yea the cleaning and issues with equipment is really annoying but I've given up hope of them fixing it, or even getting a reply.

I'm going to speak to the manager tomorrow if he's around. Surely if enough of us complain they might do something.
