Hi I'm getting lone parents benefit for myself and my two children from Marriage.
I am still Married and not legally separated or divorced yet!!! I have a new child of five months with a new partner. We are together but he is not living with me. I have a council house. He is separated from his previous partner and is tied into a mortgage by court order at present. If i claim for our new child will this affect my ongoing benefit claim for my older children?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

It would seem you are not a lone parent.
