springboard course and welfare

    I was looking into doing one of these courses but I read that you are not guaranteed to receive your dole if you take up one of these courses.

    Anyone have any experience of this ,

    cheers for any info.

    I did look but am concerned with this

    "Participation on a Springboard course will not confer any entitlement to receive an income support payment from the Department of Social Protection. Participants who are in receipt of a Department of Social Protection income support payment may be able to retain such payments"

    with the way things are id be fearful of a reduction

    Ive been on a springboard course nearly two years now op and it never impacted on what I get.
