Hey I have a last minute question. Should my itinerary display my exact printed name as on my passport? for example say my printed name was Jason William Fitzpatrick on my passport but my signature was just Jason Fitzpatrick on my passport. I'm right to say that my itinerary should display my actual printed name Jason William Fitzpatrick as exactly what my passport says right?
my passport has my full name printed on it but my signature on my passport is just William Fitzpatrick.

    cheers :)

It would help if you named the airline as they are not all the same when it comes to things like this but if the first name and surname are correct, you have nothing to worry about.

It's been discussed here before and the general consensus is that having your middle name on your passport is not a good idea precisely because it leads to situations like you've described. Next time ask for it to be removed.

my itinerary has Jason William Fitzpatrick on it and so will my boarding pass. it said when i was booking the flight that my name has go be exact as it says on my passport so that's what i did?
I rang aerlingus who said middle name is not so important but Cathy pacific said my name has to be exactly as what's printed on my passport. .

I'm jusy double checking here like. I'm going from Dublin to Paris to honkong to cebu and don't want any hassle.

Your signature could be a load of smiley faces and it wouldn't matter.

Sure I know someone whos signature is a mad squiggle.

    that's true lol.

I think you're worrying yourself over nothing tbh OP.

Airlines own systems can rearrange your name on occasion, both on itineraries & boarding passes, but once your passport is in order, you shouldn't encounter any difficulties.

I agree completely with Yamanoto. Due to the oddities of various reservations systems or simple booking cock-ups, I have flown without hassle with the following variations (using your example):
    Jason William Fitzpatrick
    Jasonwilliam Fitzpatrick
    Jason Fitzpatrick
    Fitzpatrick Jason
    Mr Jason Fitzpatrick
    Jasonmr Fitzpatrick
    Mrs Jason Fitzpatrick

As long as your first name and family name are in there most airlines really don't care.
