Turn the affected bricks upside down.

What size are the blocks and how many? Might be cheaper to just replace them with new ones as to what you'll spend on products to clean the oil.

There used to be an aerosol product, unfortunately can't remember the brand or name, think I got it from Halfords or somewhere, it worked fine on concrete and concrete slabs, spray on leave for some minutes then wash off if I remember correctly.

You could always try something like this, obviously might be available elsewhere, just the first one I found.

    http://www.halfords.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_11101_catalogId_15551_productId_160244_langId_-1_categoryId_212538#tab2

Hope this helps, I know it isn't the aerosol I was mentioning but I was using it over 10 years ago so might not be available anymore.

My father swears by dust from the garage floor, any time he spills some oil, he sweeps up the garage, puts the dust, saw dust etc. over the spill and leaves it for a couple of days. It honestly works, many a car has spilled oil on the garage floor during servicing and this always works. The wind however will probably be an issue on a drive way though.

I know it sounds mad but get a 2lt bottle of coke and pour on the area.... wait couple of hours and then wash with baking soda mixture.
It wont get rid completely but it will become less visible.

4 of the best cleaning products available:
    Coke
    Baking soda
    Alcohol Vinegar
    and
    Bleach.

But dont ever mix bleach and vinegar if youre cleaning
    its kind of very dangerous!!

Put regular washing powder on it 2 or 3 times over a week. Works great.

Get a tin of cheap oven cleaner from Dealz or the 2 euro shop and spray it on, good and thick, cover the sprayed area with some plastic and a board to keep it in place. After an hour or so rinse off with clean water and repeat if required. I find oven cleaner great for removing old and grease from small mechanical parts so it might be worth a try.

The active ingredient in many oven cleaners is 5-15% sodium hydroxide aka caustic soda. It's a strong degreaser and might not be suitable for all bricks (start with a weak concentration and preferably test an inconspicuous area). You can get 500g of the stuff in Woodies for about €4.50 and Woodies isn't cheap imo.

The active ingredient in Coke is Phosphoric acid. Works great, but you may need to then clean the whole driveway with a power washer after.
