I havent catalogued them yet, but i have a lot of old MTB cheap mtb bits that will ultimately go in the bin unless anyone wants them. There are wheels, brakes, derailers, chainsets, a ladies frame, and god knows what else. If anyone is looking for anything for building or keeping an old beater going let me know and ill see if I can help you. Price is FOC, or alternatively a donation to LePetitBraquets charity page if you so wish.

    I'm looking for:

    8 speed indexed shifters
    flat alu handlebar
    shorter stem (25.4) - 60-70mm

I'd love a pair of 7 speed shifters for a mate's dodgy bike.

    Hi lennymc,

I wouldn't mind an 8 speed deraileur if you have one handy!
Also, do you have any seatposts by any chance? I'm trying to resurrect an old steel road bike and the seat post is at it's minimum insertion line but I could do with making it just a small bit higher! I don't know the diameter I'm looking for offhand I'm afraid but I can check later!

    Thanks!

    Hi @Alek/@lennymc,

I'm afraid I forgot to check the diameter last night! Whoops! I won't be home this evening so I'll check the diameter tomorrow if that's ok. Sorry about the delay, it totally slipped my mind!

Thanks for the offer @Alek, hopefully it fits!

    Kind Regards,

Hi lenny, would be interested in the ladies frame for the girlfriend. Would you happen to have things to go with the frame? Is it an old steel frame or? Where are you based? Thanks.

    Hi Alek,

Sorry about the delay! I checked the seat post diamter and it looks like it's in the region of 27.2 mm. I think 27.6 would be a bit off.

I don't have have the original seat post but I measured the current one which I'd to really squeeze in and it's about 27.2mm. By "or close" your seat post is hardly 27.2 or 27.0 is it?!?
