Hey all, as above - anywhere in Kilkenny stocking knitting supplies?

Anybody know if Hickeys out by KFC stocks wool?

    Cheers!

There was a shop on the market slip (lane from High St to Kieran St, down by Maggie Hollands (now The Playwright!), think it's still there, sells knitting & sewing material.

I thought that was gone. Could be wrong though.

There is a shop out in purcellsinch that might be a good bet - even if they don't have what you are after i reckon they could point you in the right direction

I thought the Singer Shop had moved in to the shop opposite James' Choice on James' Street? Could be wrong.

The pound shop in Market Cross actually has a decent selection as well and I think the party shop in James's street also has a selection

Both Aldi and Lidl frequently have wool and yarn, not sure of the number of microns, also there is a very good wool shop in Clonmel by the old barracks.
I suppose it is the time of the year Wooltide.
    Bye
