I'm 99 percent sure it was portroe first templemore second and roscrea third. As for figures I don't have a clue. There wasn't a huge lot between first and second place but a big gap between second and third

Chairmen of the clubs are susposed to get a letter about the meeting a week in advance. But i have heard of cases where clubs dont get any notification or its day before they find out.

In some cases, there is a couple of clubs in kerry who do not enter the vermin count at all. Maybe these are some of the factors affecting low turn out in your meetings...?

I think it would be good of the NARGC to publish the vermin counts by all regional councils in Ireland, do comparisons, etc. Maybe increase the range of prizes. Anything literally to help in inducing interest in it for clubs.

I'd nearly start a topic here on boards.ie posting the results for kerry and maybe get other members to post the results from their counties. If anything, it would be a bit of an interest and it would give ideas on the populations of vermin in different parts of the country.
