Just got me a new Fobus holster for my KSC Glock 19, problem is its such a tight fit, I nearly have to rip the belt off myself to draw it! is there any way of loosening the fit?

With the pistol in the holster attack it with a hair dryer on the warmest setting. It should loosen either that or a heat gun but be carefull with that one.

Well that loosened a little but still tight. Only gave it the one go at it thou. Would you say a few more goes at it or shud I look for the dremmell?

Dremel would be my last option, try it a few more times, I'd lightly sand the area where it catches then use 600-800 grit paper to smooth it out.

Is it tight around the slide/frame or just difficult to draw? If it's just difficult to draw there's a screw to adjust the tightness around the trigger guard.

yea its tight along the slide, there is only one screw on the back and that's for the rotation bit.

There should be one under the trigger guard catch on the front too.

Mine must be an old version (I've had it for a few years), none of the ones on the Fobus website have it either.

It's neither of those, it's a GL-2 ND. I can't find it on the Fobus website at all even though that's where I got it. Here's a link to it somewhere else, the screw under the trigger guard adjusts the tightness.

The GL2ND Has a tension adjustment screw that adjusts the amount of force needed to draw the pistol from the holster.

It will loosen during use. The fact it's rock solid is a good thing :)

But as you draw and put it back in, it will ease up a little and be a lot more fluid. Same with any SERPA I've ever gotten or FOBUS.

If I have a new holster, when I'm having a little downtime in a game, or in the safezone, I'll draw my pistol in and out a few times to just break it in, (also get's me used to the feeling or where my hand goes when I'm getting my pistol, not looking)

I wouldn't go at it with tools and the likes until you've had a good few run outs with it. If it still tight after plenty of use then have a go at loosening up
