Upgrading my old PC

    I'm after dragging out my old PC which served me well but I'm looking to give it an upgrade or see if its even worth it. I've recently purchased a laptop so doing it cheap would be nice.

    Motherboard - gigabyte G33m-DS2r
    RAM - 1gb GEIL x 2
    CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
    GFX - Radeon HD 5770

    Looking to spend about 300 max, might be better off getting a new PC but oh well.

    Any tips would be welcome.
