When asked to discuss the factors that affect a primary, secondary or tertiary economic activity, do you only receive marks for two factors or can you discuss 3-4 factors in less detail and still get full marks?

Unless it specifies a number, you can discuss as many factors as you like so long as you discuss more than one and you can't just name the factor, you have to actually examine it. If you have a look at the marking scheme, you'll see the exact guidelines given are almost always 6 marks max if only one factor named, 2 + 2 marks for naming both factors, 2 marks for naming your economic activity in the region and then 12 SRPs @ 2 marks each. If you name three factors, that's 6 marks for factors and it splits the SRPs up further. But bearing in mind that you have to examine any factor you name, you're best off in terms of efficiency having 2-3 factors with many SRPs than 6-7 factors with an SRP for each if that makes any sense.
