    Hi folks.

    Got a 1999 3 door 206 1.1 with a Meta Systems alarm fitted.

The fob unlocks passanger door and boot only. No sound from drivers door. Using the key, the drivers door unlocks. Using the fob to lock, the passanger door and boot locks, then unlocks immediatly because the driver door didnt move. Using the key once again locks all doors. It seems to me the the drivers door electrical motor funtions fine as the key activates it perfectly.

    Any ideas ??

    Cheers

The key is turning the motor. That's the only reason it works I'd say.

    Thanks for reply.

I think the key is actually activating the motor. Its not mechanically turning the lock...if you know what I mean. Thats why I beleive the motor is fine. It appears to be a problem with the fob/central locking not unlocking that door.

Sounds to me like the alarm was retrofitted to the car to incorporate central locking. Is there a small motor inside the drivers door that was also retrofitted that is tied to the unlocking mechanism that's has gone tits up.?
