Didn't see this anywhere else. Here's a Rock Paper Shotgun interview with Miles Jacobson that I found fascinating. It's a bit too big to post entirely here but I found it crammed with little under-the-hood details about FM - the weather systems, match engine limitations, regional differences, etc, etc Well worth a read
