Just got my letter with my weekly rate for jobseekers benefit. I got the standard 188.
However I thought I would be due more as I have 3 children.
only thing that might be throwing it is herself works 2 days but only gets takes home 201.57
Anyone knows if this is the correct payment?

Is your OH also in receipt of a sw payment as she only works 2 days? If so is she in receipt of payment for your children?

No she gets nothing from social, bar the children's allowance.

Did you supply your partners payslips when making your claim?

I would say no as she does not get payslips would have filled in any relevant info on the form though.
she would be on their system as she used to get some benefit when her days at work dropped from 3 to 2. That ran out a good while ago though.

To pay you the increase, they will need payslips/some current info from her employer about her days worked and pay. There is a form you can get from your office (think its called a UP7a). You will complete part of this, and your wife's employer will complete another part.

No probs, see page 68 of http://www.welfare.ie/en/downloads/sw19.pdf to see the payment for your partner.
