Cannes International Video Game Cup - Who's going?

So who is planning on going, thinking of going, not going, kinda going etc.

We should be running 2 RTC (Road to Cannes) events in Jan and early Feb. All going according to plan, we should be able to get seed points for the winners in these events for seeding at Cannes, so it would be extremely helpful for us organisers if you could vote and tell us if you are going or not so we can liaise with the guys over in France and prepare the RTC events as well.

We are notoriously bad at doing this btw - Please vote either way....we are not a bank, we won't come after you if you change your mind

Flights are working out at circa 140 and the hotel is cheap. I think it works out at 300 for a room for 5 days for 4 people - or similar.

It usually is for a lot of us at this point, most jobs won't even talk to you about days off until you're into the same calender year as them... so I could always have a reason I can't go, this far out. I plan to try though

February 26th and March 3rd will be the travel dates for most people.

You could fly out on Friday the 28th, but you'll miss out on lots of craic.

Money, gigs and Uni going to be the deciding factors. Uni's by far the biggest; this year is really intense.

Waiting to hear back if I'm going to Sweden for a charity speedrunning event the week before hand, when the schedule gets published I'll know for sure. Should be around new years time.

Our partner Gametoo.fr will open registration on Monday December 1 2013, you will then be able to register for the various tournaments before February 15 2014, the last registration day.

Flying with Aer Lingus on Wednesday the 26th of February and flying back on Monday the 3rd of March.

Total cost with one checked bag and travel insurance is €171.13.

If you want to travel without a checked bag or insurance, it was €126.76.
