Sennheiser PC series you can get a good one for around the €50 mark. If you can stretch the budget, the Steelseries range of Siberias are the best gaming specific headsets you can buy hands down. From trying most brands and playing with enough people who have tried them all, Steelseries wins hand downs.

Careful with BENQ, they have grown in popularity with their marketing via pro-gaming, but they frequently mis-quote their specs across their own website, and the specs they supply to suppliers.

I have an LG 22inch monitor that I got a GOOd few years ago for only about €140 and it's still one of the best you can get. I purchased an LED monitor when my second monitor died, and have been less then impressed with the Acer model I got. LED looks washed out and bright compared to LCD, so worth checking around .

Have a 23" lg ips panel here as well. Had some teething problems but it looks great now. Get the newer ah-ips panel if you can. Doesn't have to be lg. A lot of the brands use lg panels anyway.

I'm going for a pair of these myself. I can't justify spending more without buying a new soundcard first.

I cheaped out on headset 2months ago. Wish I had of just splashed the extra 25. Not so much the sound, its the comfort. I can't wear them for more than 40 min without them causing trauma to my head/ears it is hella annoying.

I'll be picking up same monitor as you myself , the cheaper was for a mate who is on a tight budget.

Gonna look up some reviews of tge headset suggested.
