Feb 2014- 1 week in the sun, where?

hubbie really wants to go away for a week in the sun 14th Feb to improve overall health, would love hot sun but Florida is out of our league moneywise.....have looked up Lanzarote and Tenerife, average temp for Feb... 18 degrees.... hubbie would love something warmer,,,, where would you recommend please

The algarve maybe? I went in December a couple of years back and it was pretty nice, shorts and t-shirt type weather in the day, also very cheap for a week. I imagine February will be a bit nicer and probably not a whole lot more price wise. Might be worth having a look into.

Me and himself have booked 9 night on Playa des Ingles (Gran Canaria) For 500 each in february! We booked everything seperate as we werent sure on the exact location in GC we wanted to go and Aer Lingus had a sale!

Its 9 nights, b&b from tuesday 25th until 6th march!

We could have got it for less than 300 but thats if you can go saturday til saturday (Package deals)! As i can only get one weekend off we couldnt avail of these offers!

Its actually less than 500, its about 470ish, which includes Aerlingus Plus fare, which includes one checked bag (20kg), we picked our seats on both flights, private taxi from airport, and our accomidation in a suite!

It is also when there is some sort of carnival/Festival on the island

Schools are out from Monday 16th so prices will be steep I priced flights to lanzarote with aerlingus Sunday to Sunday 2600 for 2 adults and 2 kids ( the joys of being married to a school teacher) usual robbery from travel companies on mid term
Also priced sunway San Antonio hotel 3500 for the week at least dick Turpin wore a mask
