    Hi

Do anyone know which travel insurance websites would cover someone for going abroad within Europe for 11 weeks?
I will be going to Malta for 11 weeks in the new year for an internship and starting to look at travel insurance.
    Thanks for your help.

We use axa travel insurance every yr, have them for next yr travel covered for two months, have checked many a site and they come up with the best price and great cover.

Not many companies cover single trips of that length in an annual policy. I used Justcover.ie the last two years as they have an option of up to 90 days in a single trip.

It was €80+ for an annual policy allowing up to 90 days in a single trip and about €45 for a policy allowing up to 60 days. I did a lot of research and it was a decent policy.

That said, I have no idea if they're any good as thankfully I haven't needed to claim!

Backpacker insurance is what you need, sort of insurance policies people going to Australia for 1 year get.

I remember using NoMad insurance for about 3 months of travel to Thailand. Made no claims.
Then I used some broker (cannot remember their name, but they were based in the UK) again for a period a little longer than 3 months. My friend bought the insurance for me misspelling my 1st name:-). So we bought the 2nd policy straight away having cancelled the very 1st one. I did't have to make any claims again luckily! But... that company couldn't manage to refund money for the 1st (cancelled) policy for about 5 months (as I hadn't realized it until returning back home and my friend asking me about it:-))). So, that's why I never bothered to remember the company's name.

I've just found this (as I need to go to SEA again):
    http://www.comparetravelinsuranceireland.com/single-trip-travel-insurance/

Haven't got a chance to look at attentively, but I am wondering what the Review section is based on?

    Any thoughts?
