Did I need to inform Social Welfare about an Online Course (Tefl course)?

Just wondering do I need to inform social welfare that I am interested in doing an online tefl course? Im already doing the ECDL course through FAS, but I was considering doing the 120 hour combined tefl course (100 hours of online study, and 20 hours of in house training.), cause I got feedback from a potential job abroad. The employer told me that I need to get a Online Tefl certificate for the job.
I am also considering giving up the ECDL course for the TEFL course, and I dont want to piss off Social Welfare.

no you don't have to tell them -I think they are busy enough without wondering what you get up to
