Saorview aerial

    Hi,

    I'm new here and I would like to ask a simple question. I'm about to buy a Saorview approved tv. I have one connection between the rooftop aerial and the downstairs tv. I have no wiring into my bedroom. My final question is, Will the new Saorview tv pick up the signal directly from the roof without any extra equipment?

    if your aerial is the correct UHF aerial ,is facing the right direction and the aerial and cable are in good condition you will have no problems.

    Is the new TV going in the bedroom? You will need a cable to feed the aerial signal to the bedroom. You will need to split the feed from the roof at some convenient location (with a proper splitter) & if the signal isn't strong enough to supply more than 1 TV point, you will need amplification of some kind.
